Precision Rifle Genesis

Precision Rifle Genesis is held Gillette, Wyoming which is located in the Powder River Basin. Without the use of electronics, the focus is on the principles of precision rifle. During the 3.5 day training event clients will explore:

• Establishing an appropriate firing position
• Utilizing a grid-style reticle
• Creating data sheets
• Utilizing a “gun number”
• Range estimation utilizing a reticle
• Tripod efficiency
• Positional shooting
• Positional concealment
• Basic stalking techniques

The techniques taught will be put to the test on two days with afternoon prairie dog hunting. This offers an opportunity for clients to fine tune the skills being taught as well as to help control the prairie dog population.
