Precision Rifle Retreat
Precision Rifle Retreat is our cornerstone precision rifle course, designed for beginners as well as experienced shooters looking for a refresher. Held in the Powder River Basin near Gillette, Wyoming, the course focuses on the fundamentals of precision rifle marksmanship and ballistic data collection. Over three and a half days of training, clients will explore:
- Rifle set-up (optic mounting, eye relief, optical focus, chassis configuration)
- Building your operational space
- Fundamentals of marksmanship (prone position)
- Zero procedures
- Ballistics overview
- Environmental factors
- Ballistic computer overview and inputs
- Ranging targets
- Calibrating your trajectory
- Wind speeds and direction
- Positional shooting
- Team communication
Course cost includes ground transportation to and from Northeast Wyoming Regional Airport, lodging, meals, and drinks. Airfare is not included.
